Supporting our talented young riders

The development of the Swan River Horse Trials Inc., was initiated due to the recognition that talented young sports men and women in Western Australia are being inhibited from reaching their dream of riding at a high level of performance in the sport of Eventing, due to the lack of safe, accredited competitions.

In 2007 the course was upgraded to CIC standard enabling riders to compete at up to Olympic Level.

The management committee is made up of dedicated Officials and Event Organizers, who have many years experience in the equestrian sport. The Swan River Horse Trials Inc., is accredited and recognized by the National Equestrian Sports Body - the Equestrian Federation of Australia.

The Swan River Horse Trials Event will be one of the most exciting sporting events you can attend  and is set in the grounds of the beautiful Brookleigh, one of Australasia’s great equestrian homes.
